LoSalt® @ Faslane Naval Base
The recent Health Promotion Day at HMNB Clyde gave the Faslane Medical Centre team another chance to promote healthy living to personnel and the importnace of keeping an eye on blood pressure.
Medical Centre's Sister Maureen Anderson, Leading Medical Assistant Karen Gardner and Medic Adam Gilmore ran the Medical Centre stand, measuring the blood pressure of service and civilian personnel within the Supermess at HMNB Clyde, as well as providing healthy lifestyle advice.
To help their cause, LoSalt provided them with free educational material and promotional tubs which were "truly appreciated" by Nurse Anderson, who described the event as a "great day."
