The 18th National Salt Awareness Week took place Monday 20th - Sunday 26th March 2017. The theme for this year's Salt Awareness Week was 'Salt: The Forgotten Killer'.
In the run up to Salt Awareness Week 2017 on 20th-26th March, LoSalt commissioned a survey into how much people really know about their own salt intake and what (if any) links this may have to health. The results were very interesting!
Jacob Barwood, University of Bristol has been crowned our LoSalt Student Cook of the Year and won £1,000 in grocery vouchers, after dazzling the judging panel with his vegetable lasagne in the high-pressure culinary cook-off final at Cactus Kitchen, London.
LoSalt was happy to support the recent The Mad Dog 10k - an annual event which takes place in Southport on the North West coast.
