Wyke Farms is the UK's largest independent cheese producer and milk processor and LoSalt® is a vital ingredient of their Super Light Cheddar.

It looks, tastes, slices and cooks in the same way as any mature cheddar but with 90% less saturated fat than regular matured cheddar, it is a much healthier choice.

Rebranding

In September 2010, Wyke Farms renamed their half fat cheddar, Leskol, as Super Light.

The rebranding and fresh new packaging design aims to communicate the cheese's unique attributes and health benefits.

However, the award winning recipe has stayed the same: Super Light is still made with skimmed milk, vegetable oil and LoSalt®.
